Heart of the City

Brenton and Estevan of LvL Films came to me looking for help with the on-screen typography and motion graphics for their multi-part SF Travel series about San Francisco’s neighborhoods. After getting a sense of their vision for the series, I developed a few different options. We ultimately went with a bold and integrated look that involved large, condensed type immersed into the scene using rotoscoping, motion tracking, and/or styling that matched the atmosphere of the scene.
